ABOUT THE AREA
Presser Hall, originally part of the Hardin College Campus, is the scene of theatrical performances, concerts, dance recitals and classes in dance, theater, art and music. The city's Fairgrounds pool is a great place to cool off on a hot Summer day. Mexico has 10 parks which together offer a swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, soccer fields, volleyball courts, horseshoe courts, softball fields, picnic shelters playgrounds, baseball fields, walking and nature trails, lakes with boat ramps, a fishing dock, campgrounds, a Frisbee golf course and the Mexico Garden club’s wildflower area. One of these parks, Hardin park, is the site of summer concerts and special events.
