Lexington Circuit Court is the circuit court of Lafayette County in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings of city ordinance and traffic violations for the city of Corder (SR 20, SR BB and SR V) take place in this court
ABOUT THE AREA
A visit to Lexington will provide an opportunity to see the Civil War's Battle of Lexington historic site, antebellum homes and historic districts. The bullet holes still in the walls and evidence of the cannon shots are indicative of why the Anderson House at the Battle of Lexington Historic Site is called the center of a bloody three-day Civil War battle. The battlefield is now dotted with orchards and gardens. If you are here in March you might even get to see a reenactment of the battle
