IS 270 runs through Creve Coeur and meets IS 64, US 40 and US 61 to the South.

Creve Coeur has seven parks to fulfill the recreational needs of the community. Although these together offer the usual facilities such as playgrounds, soccer fields, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, picnic pavilions and a sand volleyball court; three of them have a bit of history with restored structures which have been relocated to them. The Lake School House, built a few years before the 20th century was moved from Lake, Missouri to Lake School park. It has been furnished in the original style with old books, a pot-bellied stove and 45 star flag. Clester Cabin, located in Conway Park and constructed with squared horizontal logs, is an American settler’s log cabin and contains one room, a fireplace and a loft. The Hackmann Cabin, originally located further North in Creve Coeur, was home to the Hackmann family and is now located in Conway park. The earliest room is restored in the pioneer style and the original owner's son and his wife added a kitchen, dining room and porch. The dining room has been restored in the Victorian period. The Tappmeyer House, which was built in the early 1880's was moved to Millennium Park. Four generations of Tappmeyers farmed the acreage at its original location. The farm had 15 out-buildings and the family grew wheat, corn, alfalfa and clover hay as well as having an apple orchard and a large vegetable garden. The Creve Coeur Ice Arena is an indoor arena located within the Dielmann Recreation complex which also has meeting rooms, a multipurpose room and a gymnasium.
