ABOUT THE AREA
Approximately 60 acres of land held by a single owner were surveyed, subdivided, and registered as the subdivision of "Crystal Spring Lake Park" in the 1920's. Incorporation as a Village came in the late 1930's and again as a Class 4 City in the 1950's as Crystal Lake Park. The city has a single park and sponsors annual picnics and parades.
