Tuscumbia Circuit Court is the circuit court of Miller County in the Twenty-Sixth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.
ABOUT THE AREA
Tuscumbia lies along the Osage river. The old part of town is basically a hodge-podge of abandoned buildings and ruins. The city dates back to the late 1830's when it was thriving city with an Indian trading camp, lead mining, lumber and building paddle-wheel riverboats. However a large part of the city now has abandoned, dilapidated and decayed buildings. The Miller County museum is located here and is the home of the Miller County Historical society. One of the main features of the museum is the photo collection of Alan Terry Wright on their website. The collection is a history of the county made from family albums, picture boxes and individual photos.
