Nixa has an aquatic center, a community center and three parks serving the recreational and social needs of its residents. The Aquatics center is primarily a lap pool with diving boards, slides and kid's slides and located outside the community center. The community has a multipurpose gymnasium, indoor walking and running track, meeting rooms, classrooms, a community wing and cafe. McCauley park has a playground, pavilion, soccer fields, an 18 hole disc golf course an paved walking path. Rotary park is equipped with a pavilion, playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball fields, a sand volleyball court, basketball court and Xeriscape garden. The Gardens at Woodfield has walking trails and gardens.
