Mt. Vernon Circuit Court serves as the circuit court of Lawrence County in the Thirty-Ninth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.
ABOUT THE AREA
The grounds of the Jones Memorial Chapel are the home of the Lawrence County Historical Society Museum. It sits next to the the Historic Adamson Cabin which was probably built in the 1850's and moved to this site. From time to time a living history exhibit is held at the cabin.
