ABOUT THE AREA
The valley in which this city sits was already known as Seneca around 1820. The Frisco Railroad carried many settlers through Seneca on their way West. The town was was the last town before you entered Indian Territory and ended the railroad ended at there. A restored Frisco caboose sits on siding in town.
The railroad depot used by the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway company has also been restored. Sneca City park is the larger of two parks in the city and has a public swimming pool, tennis courts and a walking track that crosses over Little Lost Creek.
