Macon Circuit Court is the circuit court of Macon County in the Forty-First Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system. Hearings related to citations for city ordinance violations in the city of Bevier and city ordinance and traffic violations in the city of Callao (SR 3) are held in the associate division of this court.
ABOUT THE AREA
Long Branch State park is a park over 1,800 acres in size surrounding a large lake just to the West of Macon. The park has campsites, a convenience store, a marina, boat launches and a sand beach. There is also a large natural area over 600 acres in size with a long hiking and backpacking trail that winds through savannas, upland prairie and timber. Another area is forest with oak, hickory and mixed hardwoods and wetlands. During the winter you might some bald eagles in this are along with a resident population of Giant Canada geese.
