The village of Russell Gardens is a small community of about 1000 residents in 0.2 square miles on the Great Neck Peninsula of Long Island. Its population is more diverse than its neighbors. North Shore University Hospital is about a mile away from the heart of the village. Great Neck Plaza in the adjacent Great Neck Estates is about a mile away too. Rt 25A runs through the village.
