Piggott County Court is the Eastern branch of the county court of Clay county.

The Matilda & Karl Pfeiffer museum and study center is housed in a Tudor Revival house built around 1933 and located on approximately 10 acres of grounds and gardens. There are two collections on exhibit in the museum. The Mineral collection is made up of more than 1,400 specimens and geodes collected by Mrs. Matilda Pfeiffer in the 1960's from around the globe and in the United States. The Native American Artifact collection has in it artifacts from Northeast Arkansas the majority of which were found by a local Piggott businessman and given to Mrs. Pfeiffer. There are materials in this collection from the Paleo, Archaic, Woodland Mississippian cultures and are a sample of artifacts left by Native Americans who lived in the area during the past 12,000 years
