Corning District Court is one of the district courts of Clay county. US 62 and US 67 meet in Corning.
ABOUT THE AREA
There are two major events in Corning each year. The Fourth of July is celebrated in this city with a a parade, picnic, games, a beauty pageant, a fireworks display and what is unusual for this holiday event anywhere, a Ford truck give away. In late October the annual Harvest Festival is held at Wynn park. There are agricultural business exhibits; antique farm machinery and equipment demonstrations including a one-row cotton picker, shingle mill, grain thresher and gas engines; an antique car show; children's activities, and live entertainment all day long.
