Corning Circuit Court is the Western branch of the Second Judicial Circuit court of Clay County in the Arkansas Circuit court system.
ABOUT THE AREA
The Corning Federal Fish Hatchery was built here by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service around 1938, because the site in the Mississippi Delta made this an ideal location for such a facility. although the hatchery was closed by the federal government around 1983, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission took it over and renamed it the William H. Donham State Fish Hatchery. a portion of the approximate 140 acres of the hatchery are ponds where largemouth bass, striped bass, hybrid striped bass, bluegill sunfish, redear sunfish, black crappie, channel catfish, walleye, sauger and saugeye are produced. Stop by and see it sometime, it's quite interesting.
