Paragould Circuit Court is the Second Judicial Circuit court of Greene County in the Arkansas Circuit court system.

You would not think of it in this city of approximately 25,000 people but according to city-data.com, Paragould ranks among the most dangerous places in the United States with a property crime index rating that is more than double the national average since 2007. This is addition to the occurrence of rapes, burglaries, thefts and assaults which are above the national average. This has prompted the city police chief to just about declare martial law with police in SWAT gear and with AR-15s around their necks. The police will also be checking ID's.
