ABOUT THE AREA
Prince George's County borders the District of Columbia and is home to some of the most financially successful Black professionals in the country. While may feel this is a positive thing, others might suggest that it hints at the effect of excessive federal spending and corruption. The corruption argument is strengthened by the 2010 indictment and 2011 conviction of county executive Jack B. Johnson, further explained in this Washington Post article.
