Clarksville County Court is Johnson county's county court.

The annual Johnson County Peach festival is a four day celebration held in Clarksville late in July. You will find good old home cooking here and handmade arts and crafts. If you can tear yourself away from eating that good food there are many other events to enjoy. There is a banana split contest (no peaches in that), a talent contest, a cinema on one of the evenings, a scavenger hunt, diaper derby, bicycle obstacle course, skateboard contest, a peach cobbler and jam and jelly bake-off. Don't forget to take in the live entertainment and you might want to take part in the fishing derby, greased pig chase, frog jump, terrapin derby, peach eating contest, skillet toss, Horseshoe tournament and cardboard boat regatta. While you are in town, you might wander over to see the Raymond Munger Memorial Chapel on North College street. This unique building is constructed of limestone trimmed with Nucarth stone with antique cathedral glass windows.
