Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas. It has a population of close to to 200,000. There are many entertainment venues here, from the nightlife provided by the many clubs to the Robinson Center Music hall, scene of Arkansas Symphony orchestra, visiting artist and broadway show performances; the Clinton Presidential Center where you can hear classical musical performances of artists from around the world and the Arkansas Repertory theatre which hosts dramatic and musical presentations and recitals of the Arkansas Ballet Troupe. The historic Arsenal Building built around 1840 and a National Historic landmark is the home of the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. The museum's exhibits display items representative of the service of Arkansas men and women who saw service in military conflicts from the state's territorial period to the present.
