ABOUT THE AREA
The Arkansas Inland Maritime museum, on the banks of the Arkansas River in North Little Rock, features the submarine USS Razorback and the historic tugboat USS Hoga, a veteran of the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The museum also has on exhibit artifacts from the USS Arkansas, a Virginia-class nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser and is home to the USS Snook Memorial and a theater. The Old Mill re-creation of a water-powered grist mill, circa 1880's, which also has sculptures by Dionicio Rodriguez on its grounds. The Verizon Arena can seat as many as 18,000 and has a meeting and conference space of close to 28,000 square feet. The arena is the scene of sports and entertainment as well as conventions and exhibitions.presentations.
