Stuttgart District Court is the district court of the Northern district of Arkansas county. US 63, US 79, US 79 Business, US 165 and SR 130 are the major roads running through Stuttgart.

Located on the Stuttgart campus of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas; the Grand Prairie center, which consists of an auditorium and convention center, is host to performances, business, civic, social, cultural and educational events throughout the year. The German heritage of Stuttgart is celebrated annually in April at the Museum of the Arkansas Grand Prairie. The festival has an old fashioned sack race, tug-o-war, bobbing for apples, pie throwing, dunking booth and archery. At this event you can get to enjoy homemade German pasta, Bratwurst and Germanic beers and wine. To work off the calories, the live polka music will give you a chance for some fancy footwork. For outdoor recreation there's the Reinsch Sports complex, where the fields accommodate youth t-ball and baseball and adult softball, and the new Stuttgart Aquatic center.
