Among the state district courts in Jefferson County you will find Redfield District court. SR 46 and SR 365 meet Redfield and IS 530 and US 65 just nip the Southeast corner of the town. You can reach IS 530/US 65 by using SR 46.
ABOUT THE AREA
Redfield was originally the village of Red Bluff and located near the Arkansas River. However the Little Rock, Mississippi River and Texas railroad being built during the years of 1880-1881 missed Red Bluff by four miles. Where upon the and the citizens moved to the new area and named the town Redfield for the president of the railroad. The Redield baseball park is located in the Northeast corner of town near twin lakes. Tar Camp park, located to the East of town, is managed by the corp of engineers. The park has a nature trail, camp sites and access to the Arkansas river.
