The Lincoln County District Court is also known as the County Division of the Star City District Court. Traffic cases are heard here from throughout the county except for within the city limits of Star City, Gould and Grady.

The Joslyn-Carder Town Square is in downtown Star City and is a great place to relax on one of the benches around. Stroll though the square to see some of the points of interest there such as the gazebo style stage, the clock tower, the military veterans memorial wall at the Northwest corner and the confederate soldier statue at the Southwest corner. Right outside the city limits, you can find Lincoln County Veterans Memorial park. The park is the site of a World War II tank and two 55 millimeter cannons. Within the grounds there is a chipping course, a paved walking path, a sports field and a veterans memorial museum. The Star City skate board park has challenging jumps, ramps and bars which attract skaters from around the state. The city's heated indoor swimming pool, although available for recreational swimming; is available for therapeutic exercise and swimming lessons as well as private swim parties on the week ends.
