ABOUT THE AREA
The historic downtown area of Flippin is a good place to pick up antiques. A short distance from the downtown area you can find the Old Flippin City jail, circa 1928. At the Forrest L. Wood Outdoor gallery, the history of the famous Ranger Bass Boat is related through the the awards, photographs, memories and mementos of Forrest and Nina Wood. Displays related to the development of Bass fishing over the past 50 years as well the very first Ranger boats built are in the gallery.
