ABOUT THE AREA
The town of Bethlehem in NJ is largely country with Musconetcong mountains forming 50% of the township and Musconetcong valley filling the other 50%. The township is thinly populated with less than four thousand ladies and gents in over twenty square miles. US Rt 22, I-78 and Routes 643, 173 and 635 run through the township. There are many natural and man-made scenic parks and spots in this township. It is not unusual to spot black bears in the region.
