There are several state district courts in Benton county. One of them is Pea Ridge District Court. SR 72, SR 94 and SR 265 are the roads you will find in Pea Ridge.

Much of Pea Ridge is intertwined with the Civil War battle of Pea Ridge. Not only is the Pea Ridge National Military Park, where the battle of Pea Ridge was fought, located here; but the East/West streets are named after Confederate soldiers and the North/South streets are named after the Union soldiers who took part in the battle. The annual Pea Ridge Mule Jump in October is probably an event you will not see anywhere else. The main feature in this event is the Jump itself with usually more than 40 mules participating in a competition; where their owners try to coax them over burlap barriers in hopes of taking home one of the cash prizes. More than 100 vendors are present to offer food, drink, crafts and special Ozark- specific gifts. Live musical entertainment is presented throughout the event.
