Among the state district courts in Saline county you will Benton District court. IS 30, US 67, US 71, SR 5, SR 35, SR 88, SR 183 and SR 229 are the roads running through Benton.

There are some interesting structures to see in Benton; among them the Shoppach House which is Benton’s oldest surviving structure built around 1853 and the Old River Bridge which was the first bridge constructed around 1889 to replace the ferry system and spans the Saline River. There is also the Gann Building which was built around 1896 of bauxite from local mines, is the only known structure of its kind in the United States and now is the home of the Gann Museum. The museum has on exhibit memorabilia, photographs, original office furniture and artifacts, Niloak pottery, Quapaw and Caddo Indian artifacts, an area dedicated to the aluminum era of Saline County, the Civil War, World War I and World War II.
