ABOUT THE AREA
The township of East Amwell has nearly 4500 people in 29 square miles. It is rather thinly populated. The township is proud of its commitment to preserve the right to farm and is largely rural. Even those who are not engaged in farming respect the fact that the township is full of farmlands and green pastures. Heron Glen Golf Course and Copper Hill Country Club lie on either side of the Municipal Court. US Rt 202 and Routes 31, 579 and 514 pass through the township.
