Franklin township is home to nearly 3000 people. It has 3 churches which are believed to have to been built in the period1723-1733. The beautiful & well-maintained Beave Brook Country Club is about 1.5 miles from the courthouse. Hunts Mill Park and Sky Manor Airport are in the vicinity too. I-78 and US Rt 22 border the township of Franklin. Routes 513 and 617 run through the township.
