Nevada District Court is the district court of Story county in the Second judicial district of Iowa.

The SCORE Recreation Athletic complex has an outdoor aquatic center, pavilion, soccer fields, softball and baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a multi-purpose basketball court, playgrounds and a lighted trail. In addition to this facility the city of Nevada has several parks which provide basketball courts, grills, playground equipment, picnic shelters and tables, greenbelt hiking and biking trails, softball diamonds, a sand volleyball court, a 9 hole disc golf course, a skate park, baseball and soccer fields. All in all plenty of places for the residents to enjoy the outdoors.
