Fort Dodge District Court serves as the Webster county district court in the Second judicial district of Iowa.

To provide a sense of history the Fort Museum and Frontier Village has a replica Civil War militia fort which has in it a collection of military, pioneer and Native American artifacts. Front Street at this complex includes original and replica buildings which make up a pioneer village and display artifacts associated with the buildings. Both the Fort Dodge Area symphony and Fort Dodge Choral society give concerts throughout the year and watch for the Karl King Municipal band which plays concerts during the Spring and Summer. The recently renovated Rogers Sports complex has something different at its ballfields. They replicate a smaller version of Yankee, Fenway, Dodger and Wrigley stadiums. The Softbal Hall of Fame building is also located at this complex.
