Orange City District Court serves Sioux county as its district court and is located in the Third judicial district of Iowa. There are several good roads in this county including US 18, US 75, SR 10, SR 60 and SR 182.

The Dutch heritage is apparent in this town when you see the Dutch store fronts on quite a few of the businesses, beautiful flower gardens and a downtown Windmill Square with a flowing water canal lined with miniature windmills and authentic Dutch style architecture you see throughout the community. It is especially on display during the annual Tulip festival in May which attracts thousands from all over. Besides the beautiful flowers there is music and dancing by children and adults in authentic Dutch costumes to enjoy. The fun goes on with two daily parades, a nightly musical theatre, a carnival midway and Dutch delicacies to taste.
