Harlan District Court serves as the district court of Shelby county in the Fourth judicial district of Iowa. For the long runs in Shelby county US 59, SR 37, SR 44 and SR 191 are the roads to use.
ABOUT THE AREA
Besides a good group of parks this city has its Norman D. Stamp Aquatic center with its open swimming area and swimming lanes, the Petersen Family Wellness center and the Veteran's Memorial auditorium which can accomodate basketball games and other events. The parks have everything from a pond to baseball and softball diamonds, 9-hole golf courses, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds and a bowling alley.
