COMMENTS
The county court (Box 465) and the district court (Box 350) are in the Garden County courthouse. Each of them is in their respective Twelfth judicial district of Nebraska. US 26 and SR 92 run together through the southern part of Garden county and meet with SR 27.
ABOUT THE AREA
Due to the large number of geese that annually stop around Oshkosh, it is often known as the Goose Capital of the World, a fact proclaimed on a sign leading into town. Recreational venues in town are the municipal pool and the Oshkosh ballpark. The Oshkosh museum consists of two buildings, the Silverhill Theatre which is an old opera house and the Rock School, a 100 year old stone schoolhouse. In the museum whose stuffed bird collection has over 300 specimens in it also has pioneer and Native American artifacts and fossils
