ABOUT THE AREA
Hightstown has nearly 5200 people and is arguably the center of the state - but you should not count on us for this - NJ is not exactly a circle. Peddie School, a school founded in mid-1800s is still functional in the borough. Peddie Golf Course is walking distance from the Courthouse area. Peddie Lake and Schenck Lake are two of the many tiny scenic lakes and ponds in the vicinity. Routes 33, 133, 539, US Rt 130 and Interstate-95 (NJ Tpke) criss-cross the borough.
