The facility herein called the Superior Court includes the Superior justice court, the Superior city court and the Alberton city court. Generally speaking, the justice court handles civil and traffic violations which occur outside the city limits of Superior and Alberton and those that occur within their city limits are handled in the individual city courts. All of these courts are in the Fourth judicial district of Montana. Two main roads serve Mineral county, IS 90 and SR 135. IS 90 runs through Superior and Alberton's main street is Railroad avenue.

Although the mineral finds in this county ceased to be significant, mining continues to this day. Mineral County Museum in Superior has exhibits of Hard Rock mining tools, historical photos, pioneer clothing, local legends, Glacial Lake Missoula and the 1910 fires.
