Lake County Court is also known as Lake County District Court and is in the Twentieth judicial district of Montana.
ABOUT THE AREA
Although the Flathead reservation was established around 1855 and the first permanent mission was founded at St. Ignatius around 1854; the county was not formed till around 1923. The county took its name from Flathead lake which is a big presence in the area. Polson is located within the Flathead Indian reservation. It is the trading center for a farming area which is a prime cherry growing region, celebrated by the city's an annual Cherry Festival.
