Ronan is located on the Flathead Indian reservation. Because of the mountains, rivers and nearby lake the area is suitable for both Summer and Winter activities. You will find it easy to engage in hiking, river rafting, boating, fishing, camping or ice fishing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. The Lake County Fair and Pioneer Days celebration is held at the end of July on the Ronan fairgrounds. In addition to 4-Hr's, from throughout Lake county, showing their animals in the competitions there are artisans showing crafts and products, vendors, a demolition derby, parade and a rodeo at this event. Add in the carnival and food and all will have a good time.
