Truth or Consequences District Court is the Seventh Judicial District Court of Sierra which is in the judicial court system of New Mexico.

This county has one of the unique sites in the United States and indeed the world. Near Upham the world's first built-from-scratch space launch station is taking shape. This is the place from which the private company Virgin Galactic hopes to launch people and payloads into space. Throughout Sierra county you will find an extraordinary and eccentric group of artists working on their different gendre. The Black Range museum in Hillsboro has exhibits representative of the history of Hillsboro and the interesting characters who lived there.
