ABOUT THE AREA
Hillsborough is not a borough but is a township. It is home to nearly 37,000 people. Belle Mead General Depot has an establishment in the township. Ann Van Middesworth Park is in the township too. US Rt 206 and Routes 514, 625 and 677 pass through the township. US Rt 206 is currently under construction. The township plans to build a new town center on the old US Rt 206 area, after the construction work is complete. The old US 206 section will then be treated as the major thoroughfare through the township and would house big and small businesses.
