Custer is a deer and Elk country. Take a tour on the wagons, like the red coats did or just get on your hiking shoes and keep walking. It is a nature lovers paradise. However don’t get fooled by the innocent looks of the elk because they charge too and because they’re in charge of the place. Never tread on their hooves.
