SR 18 comes down through Casselton and is met by CR 10 at the Northern border of the town.

Casselton called well be called the town of governor's. Five of North Dakota's governor at one or another called the town home. The the Rural Cass County Community theater presents two productions a year. In June a musical, with performers from the community, is presented at Central Cass High School. In the Winter the production is The “Broadway Cabaret Dinner Theatre” with cast members from previous years’ productions performing numbers from of Broadway shows. In July of each year the big bang is provided by the Summerfest event. To entertain one and all there is the parade, book carnival, kiddie entertainment, golf tournament, Crazy Days sale, pancake feed, variety show and three street dances with live music.
