SR 18 and SR 200 run together through Portland and CR 16 comes in from the North.

Portland park besides being a great place for families to relax is where the Portland Equine park is located. The MayPort Arena association holds several horse related events in this area each year. These events can run from barrel racing to horse roping to just plain horse shows. They also sponsor Play Days when non pros can do some barrel racing, pole racing, goat tying, partner Pony Express, Flag Race and some kids games. This community shares the Mayport Multipurpose Community Event center, which is an indoor hockey and ice skating arena with the city of Mayville.
