Two good roads pass together through Lidgerwood, SR 11 and SR 18.

The annual Kolache/Heritage Day festival celebrates the Czech heritage of this town. The Kolache is a type of pastry which originated as a semisweet wedding dessert from Central Europe and you will find plenty of them to eat at this event. There is a Kolache baking contest, a parade, live entertainment and an evening meal to finish the celebration. Pool park has a playground, covered picnic areas volleyball nets, a tennis court horseshoe pits. Legion park in addition to a covered picnic area has an actual military tank and helicopter on display.
