Some pretty decent roads run through Bismarck, IS 94, IS 94 Bypass, IS 194, US 83 and SR 810.

Bismarck is quite a large city with close to 65,000 people and and an area of close to 27 square miles. Visitors to this city will find plenty to do. The Dakota zoo has close to 600 animals, birds, reptiles and fish representative of more than 125 species. Bismarcks's Gateway to Science has a host of hands on exhibits about air pressure, Butterflies, electricity & magnetism, water, images & sensation, light & color, mirror images, robotics, roller coasters and simple machines. The city is also host to two minor league sports teams, the Bismarck Bobcats hockey team and the Dakota Wizards basketball team. You could take a nice ride on the Lewis and Clark riverboat on the Missouri river. The city has a number of facilities for recreational activities such as swimming, ice skating, volleyball, tennis and racquetball. Bismarck is also the home of Bismarck State college.
