ABOUT THE AREA
Hauppauge houses nearly 20,200 residents. Hauppauge Industrial Park, a huge park that has over 1500 companies in the hamlet, provides employment to many residents and non-residents. The high-tech Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is a 2-minute drive from the District Court. The Hamlet also houses Blydenburgh Country Park, Stone Bridge Country Club and Hamlet Wind Watch Golf Club. The scenic New Mill Pond Lake is in the vicinity too. Hauppauge is served by I-495 (Long Island Expressway) and Routes 454 and 347. Less well known is that a close relative of the founders of town-court.com grew up in this neck of the woods.
