Chatham Township has nearly 10,000 residents. Chatham township borders Chatham borough and together, they are often referred to as The Chathams. They share a Public Library and the Recreation Club amongst other things. Passaic River Country Park is a 5 minute walk from the Court Complex. Route 512 passes through. Numerous historic houses, some of which were built in early 1700s. Elias Boudinot House, Crane Johnson House, and Carriage House are here.
