ABOUT THE AREA
The Museum of North Idaho, which sits next to City park, is primarily a logging and lumbering museum but also exhibits items related to the history of the area. The exhibits include logging equipment, a blacksmith shop, old-time kitchen and forestry displays. North Idaho college is a community college located along Lake Coeur d'Alene, The Fort Sherman Powder House museum located on its campus displays exhibits which are examples of life at the fort.
