Long Hill Township has nearly 8800 residents. Thanks to its rural and homey atmosphere, this year, Long Hill Township made it to NJ magazine's 25 Great Towns in NJ list. The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge and Raptor Trust, a bird sanctuary are in Long Hill, plus Connell Corporate Center, NJ National Golf Club and Basking Ridge Country Club. I-78 serves Long Hill township. Routes 512 and 622 pass through the township too.
