Juneau Superior Court is in the First judicial district of Alaska. The major roads in the Juneau area are SR 7 which morphs into Egan drive and North Douglas highway.

THis was the home of of Alaska's pioneer judge who was also a a statesman, author, historian and scholar. The Juneau Symphony presents concerts, including the Wild West Pops concert, in a season extending from October to June in different venues in the Juneau area.
