Seward District Court is part of the Third judicial district of Alaska. Major roads here are Third avenue/ Seward highway (SR 9) and Ballaine boulevard.
ABOUT THE AREA
Seward lies tucked away in Resurrection bay. Two competitions are held in this city which draw a large number of participants each year. The Wells Fargo Polar Bear Jump Off Basketball tournament held in January is participated in by teams from around the state. The Silver Salmon derby, starting on the second weekend, in August carries a prize of a prize of $10,000. To the lucky angler who hauls in the tagged goes the prize of $50,000.
