SR 448 runs through the heart of Corrales, but if you want to hear the sweet sound of the road; IS 25 lies to the East.

This small village is surrounded by all kinds of exciting places; Rio Grande to the east across which you will find the Sandia Indian reservation, to the South is Albuquerque and to the West and North is the City of Rio Rancho. Pueblo Indians were followed into the area by Hispanic, European and American families who found economic sustenance in raising grapes, apples and livestock. While you are in the village you might hear the sounds and unfortunately the smells of roosters, cows, horses and sheep. Modern life and stresses fade away when you are in this place. The Corrales Society of Artists sponsors a series of fine arts and crafts shows, Art in the Park, held the third Sunday of each month, from May to October, in La Entrada park.
